What we collect
When you use the Need IT Help website or contact us, we may collect:
- Contact-form details: name, company, email, phone number, preferred contact method, need type, user count, locations, urgency, and the message you write.
- SMS opt-in data: the mobile number you provide and the record of your consent to receive text messages from Need IT Help.
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, and standard server logs. If analytics is configured, aggregated usage data from Google Analytics.
A hidden honeypot field and Cloudflare Turnstile are used to reduce spam on the contact form.
How we use it
Need IT Help uses this information to respond to your request, qualify work, provide IT support and project updates, coordinate appointments, and keep a record of the conversation. Phone numbers collected with SMS consent are used to send texts about your inquiry, support, or scheduled work — not to sell a list.
Inquiry details may be stored in our inbox, email, and any ticket or CRM system we operate. Messages may be delivered through service providers that process data for us (for example Microsoft for email and Twilio for SMS). Those providers are not given SMS opt-in data or personal information to use for their own marketing.
SMS opt-in
If you opt in to SMS from Need IT Help, message frequency varies based on your request and our work together. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to SMS is not a condition of purchasing services from Need IT Help.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Retention and security
Transport uses HTTPS. We keep inquiries and SMS consent records as long as needed to provide support or meet legal obligations, then delete or archive them.
